Todd Blyleven was running through active gunfire at the Las Vegas Route 91 mass shooting with 18 people depending on him. With bullets cracking past him and people falling to his left and right, his only prayer was that if a bullet came their way, it would hit him — not his wife. This is what real servant leadership looks like under the worst possible pressure. Courage isn't the absence of fear. It's moving forward anyway when everyone you love is counting on you.
